Connecting Hubspot to Invitly

By connecting Hubspot, you can automatically sync attendees who RSVP to your events directly into your CRM.

To do this, you need to provide Invitly with a Private App Access Token from your Hubspot account.

Step 1: Navigate to Private Apps

1. Log in to your Hubspot account.
2. Click the Settings icon (gear) in the main navigation bar.
3. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Integrations > Private Apps.
4. Click Create a private app.

Step 2: Configure the App

1. Enter a name for the app (e.g., "Invitly RSVP Sync").
2. Optionally, upload a logo or add a description.

Step 3: Set Scopes

1. Click the Scopes tab.
2. In the search bar, type contacts.
3. Check the box for crm.objects.contacts.write. This allows Invitly to create and update contacts when they RSVP.
4. Check the box for crm.objects.contacts.read.

Step 4: Generate the Token

1. Click Create app in the top right.
2. A modal will appear warning you about the token. Click Continue creating.
3. You will now see your Access Token. Click Show token and then copy it.

Step 5: Save in Invitly

1. Return to your Invitly dashboard.
2. Go to the Integrations tab.
3. Paste the token into the Hubspot Private App Access Token field.
4. Click Save.

Your integration is now active! When you create an event, you can enable the Collect RSVPs & Sync to CRM toggle to start collecting leads.
